beach trip!

we went on a little family road trip with my mom and the dogs to taft beach on the siletz bay.
seals like to sleep on a spit there and when the tide is out they swim close to the beach, pop their heads up and seem to say hi! i think george thought the seals where dogs and wanted to go play with them. i taught lewie to look for agates since he doesnt know how to sit around and do nothing. he was able to go skate at the lincoln city skate park so he didnt get too bored.
we visited some antique malls and depoe bay. the sea hag is a real treat. built to look the inside of a boat. the bartenders play songs on the bottles of booze and hand out mariachis to the customers. there is also restaurant there called the blow hole. at the antique malls we saw incredible rare books and a civil war medicine chest with laudem and morphine.
i sure love oregon and need to go on more adventures.
